Jo Monjardino - Resettlement Officer

Jo joined Prisoners Abroad’s Resettlement Team as a Resettlement Officer in August 2025. He provides resettlement support and advice to individuals returning to the United Kingdom following a period of imprisonment.

He has held a range of roles across the criminal justice system, including working as a Prison Officer in a London prison and as a Policy Advisor in the Youth Justice Policy Unit at the Ministry of Justice. He is passionate about supporting people with experience of the criminal justice system to rebuild their lives and reintegrate back into the community.

Jo holds a BSc in Physics from the University of Edinburgh and an MSc in Applied Custodial Leadership from Leeds Trinity University.
