Harold - York Expand Harold took over the running of the York group in 2015. He is a retired probation officer and brings a broad range of experience to this group.
Dulcie - Chelmsford Expand Dulcie originally set up the family support group in Birmingham in 2015. Since 2020 she has been running the family support group in Chelmsford. Dulcie is a forensic psychologist and works as a specialist forensic psychologist for the NHS. Her background is in anthropological and criminological research. She sees the huge benefit of people attending the support group.
Kate - Manchester Expand Kate has been running the Manchester group since 2013. She works for a charity in the North West that works in the criminal justice system and brings a wide range of contacts and experience to this group.
Poppy - Bath Expand Poppy has worked in the charitable sector for many years and brings experience from many arenas including criminal justice, mental health and disability. She took over the running of the South West group in July 2018.
Deborah - Liverpool Expand Deborah has worked for many years in advocacy roles in the public and private sectors. She joined Prisoners Abroad to run the Liverpool Family Support Group which was set up in June 2019.
Eloise - Brighton Expand Eloise started running the Brighton family support group in March 2025. She works for a charity called Spark Inside, who offer life coaching to individuals aged between 15-30 in the criminal justice system. She also has a Masters degree in criminology and politics. She has five years experience in the sector, having previously been a prison officer as part of Unlocked Graduates.
Laura - Birmingham Expand Laura has run the group in Birmingham since March 2020. She brings experience of providing psychological support across the UK criminal justice system including court, psychiatric hospitals and prisons.
Aileen - London Expand Aileen took over running the London group in 2024. She has spent most of her career as a civil servant, mainly at the Ministry of Justice and Home Office, and has a detailed understanding of the UK criminal justice system. She also brings experience of supporting homeless people, having been Chief Executive of a homelessness charity.
