How we help Prisoner and family support Help for prisoners and their families Family Support and Information Our trained and supportive staff provide advice and guidance in both in-person and virtual group meetings. Speakers are invited to talk on specific subjects, or to lead a discussion. Representatives of government departments, such as the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office often take part and answer questions. You will be assured of a friendly welcome and the opportunity to talk to others in a supportive and confidential environment. You can ask questions, talk to others or listen to other people’s experiences.
